Planning on Retiring? Here are some tips.

  • If you know you are definitely going to retire in two years, submit your retirement letter in advance so the district can place half your sick day funds in your 403b account that December.  
  • In your retirement letter,  please state that by accepting your letter, the district will include you in any retirement package offered to the BTA membership before your retirement date.   
  • Opting out of the Welfare Fund is final. Once you opt out, you cannot be reinstated.​
